The Nigeria Police Force invites applications from suitably qualified Nigerians for enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force as Police Constable (Recruits)

The online application portal will be opened for the period of six weeks from 15th October to 26th November 2023

Nigeria Police Recruitment Requirements 2023

Applicants must have passion for a career in the Nigeria Police Force and must satisfy the following general requirements:

1. Applicants must be a citizen of Nigeria by birth and possess National Identity Number (NIN)
2. Must be between the age of 17 and 25 years
3. Must have O’level with at least five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics in WASSSCE, GCE, NECO/NABTEB in not more than two sittings
4. Must not be less than 1.67 metres in height for men and 1.64 metres for women
5. Must not have less than 86 cm (34 inches) expanded chest measurement (only men)
6. Must not have any of the following abnormalities:
   • Speech impediment
   • Bow legs
   • Knock knees
   • Bent knees
   • Flat feet
   • Deformed hand
   • Tattoos
   • Body scars
   • Defective eyesight or squint eyes
   • Amputation of any part of the body
   • Gross malformation of teeth
   • Protruding Navel
7. Must not be pregnant at the time of recruitment
8. Must be free from any pecuniary embarrassment
9. Must download and fill the guarantor’s form

How to Apply for Nigeria Police Recruitment 2023/2024

To apply for Police Recruitment, you must have a functional Email Address and National Identification Number (NIN). See How to Create Gmail or Yahoo Mail Account

Simplest Steps:

1. Visit www.apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng with NIN, email, and phone number.

2. Fill out the application form

3. Upload your O’level results, Birth, and Certificate of Origin

4. Print the completed online form, guarantor form and submit same at the physical or credential screening exercise.

1. visit the Nigeria Police recruitment portal at www.apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng and fill in your details.
2. Enter your National Identification Number (NIN)
3. Enter your Email and create an account
4. Enter your password and fill the captcha (sum of the two numbers above the box)
5. Click Create Account
6. Log in to your email and click on the link sent to your inbox (check your spam box if you do not find the message in your inbox)
7. Enter your Email and Password and click login
8. Ensure you fill the police online application form correctly
9. Submit your application and wait for Nigeria Police shortlist
10. Print your Confirmation slip

New Method of Application (Update Your Police Recruitment Record)

All candidates who have earlier submitted their applications are advised to visit www.policerecruitment.gov.ng to update their record

Note: You must copy out Your Applicant Reference ID before submitting the form for future use. It can be found at the top of the form. (Don’t refresh the page while filling the form. Else, the Reference ID will change). If you refresh the page while filling out the form, ensure you copy the new application reference form.

Steps:

1. Enter your National Identity Number (NIN)
2. Supply the required details to update your record
3. Upload scanned copies of the following
   • O’level Result(s)
   • Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
   • Certificate of Origin
4. Check the consent box and click submit
5. Print the Confirmation slip and take note of Your Application Reference ID
6. Download and Print the Guarantor’s form

Note: You must copy out Your Applicant Reference ID for future use.

How to Sum Police Recruitment login challenge to prove you are not a robot. Add the two numbers on top of the Sum box and type them inside the Sum box. For instance, the sum above = 3+1 = 4, so 4 should be typed inside the box.

If you can’t log in to your account, let us know in the comment session.

Print the information that is sent automatically to your email, and do not forget to copy and save your REGISTRATION NUMBER for future correspondences. The NUMBER is case sensitive, please.

You would be required to present a hard copy of the email message sent to you if you are shortlisted and contacted for the next stage of the recruitment process.

• Applicants with multiple applications would be disqualified
• The Nigeria Police Force shall not enter into any correspondence with candidates for this exercise aside from its portal or candidates emails.
