The sale of Online Application Forms for admission into BASIC NURSING AND REFRESHER  BASIC NURSING Programmes will commence on Tuesday, 21^st March, 2023 and ends on Sunday, 30th April, 2023.

Requirements for the Katsina State Nursing School Form

• A candidate who wants to apply for this admission form must have at least 5 credits in their O’Level (WAEC, NECO or GCE)certificate, it should not be more than two sittings, with chemistry, physics, mathematics and English and biology
• Applicants working in any company or organisation should have a resignation letter because all programmes are full time
• Applicants can only apply to a programme at its period of application NOTE: all programmes have their own period of application
•  Candidates for basic midwifery must be a women (female)
• Candidates for community midwifery must reside in katsina state and must be a female indigene of katsina state
• Candidates for post basic nursing must be a registered midwife
• Candidates for refresher nursing and refresher midwifery must have elimination evidence in their final qualifying examination of the nursing and midwifery council of Nigeria

Cost of Forms:

• Refresher Basic Nursing :Five Thousand, One Hundred Naira ₦5,100 (excluding bank charges)
•  Basic Nursing :Two Thousand, Five  Hundred Naira ₦2,500 (excluding bank charges)

How To Apply For Katsina State College of Nursing

1. Visit https://conamkat.edu.ng/
2. Create an account
3. Click on the button called “click to continue” after creating the account
4. Enter your password and email and click to login when you return to continue application page
5. Click on pay application fee, and proceed to make your payment
6. Click on OK when a dialogue box appear
7. Click on payment mode you want, (pay now with ATM card or print payment slip and pay in designated bank branch)
8. If you choose print payment slip and pay in designated bank branch,print the payment transaction and take it to any bank nationwide
9. If you choose pay now with ATM card, you will be directed to remita page, supply the necessary details and make your payment

How To Fill Application Form

• If you paid with remita, go to step 3 of this section and continue your application
• If you paid through bank, continue your application by visiting application portal conamkat.edu.ng
• Login by entering your email  and password
• At the top left click on home then biodata and enter your detail on each field
• Click on upload your passport and upload your recent passport photograph (passport photograph should not be more than 100kb )
• Then click on update profile
• At the top left, click on O’level and enter your senior secondary school name, centre number, exam number and certificate obtained (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) then click on school
• Enter the details of the second results if you are using two results
• Click next
• Enter your subject, exam and grade and then click on add result, continue repeating this until you add all the 5 subject
• You will see 5 subjects require and the acceptable grades. If you are using 2 results, when you select the subject, select the exam type that you have credit on it and select the grade#
• You can add more subjects by clicking “you can add more subjects” (optional)
• Then upload your certificate, if you are using two results, upload the two results
• Attach a scanned copy of your certificate(s) or statement of results

NOTE: The size should not be more than 300KB

• Click on next
• You can edit your information by going to the top left where the information is and edit it
• Click on the small box under declaration and click submit

NOTE: you cannot edit application after submission

• Print your completed application form

2. Entrance Examination for Basic Nursing: Saturday 6^th May, 2023

4. Release of Admission List:  Monday 22^nd May, 2023

5. Registration: Tuesday 23^rd – Wednesday, 31^st May, 2023

6. Commencement of Lectures: Thursday 1^st June, 2023
