BUK Post Utme Form For 2023/2024 Academic Session

BUK Post UTME Form, eligibility, screening date, cutoff mark, and registration details for the 2023/2024 Admission have not been officially announced by the school management.

The management of Bayero University, Kano has not released its Post Utme Form and cutoff mark for BUK 2023 Post Utme screening exercise.

The University has pegged 220 and above cut-off points for programmes in the Faculties of Clinical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Sciences while Faculties of Allied Health Sciences, Dentistry and Law have their cut off points from 200 and above.

The cut-off points for programmes in other faculties are 180 and above.

They are: Agriculture, Arts and Islamic Studies, Basic Medical Sciences, Communication, Computer Science and Information Technology, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Education and Engineering.

Others are Life Sciences, Management Sciences, Physical Sciences and Social Sciences.

All candidates are advised to visit any JAMB Office or accredited CBT centre nearest to them to upload their O’Level results (WAEC, NECO etc)

How to Apply For BUK Post Utme Form 2023

The following steps will work you through to register BUK Post Utme:

1. Visit www.buk.edu.ng. and click POST-UTME Application Portal

2. Login using your UTME Number and UTME Aggregate (total score), then upload your passport-sized photograph.

3. Fill in the Applicant’s Particulars Form.

4. Print your Personalized Payment Invoice and use the invoice to make the payment of N2,500 (Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira Only) at any branch of Banks Listed on your Invoice nationwide.

5. After making the payment, return to the website, www.buk.edu.ng, login again. Your payment will be validated after which you can print your personalized Examination Card.

NOTE: No Applicant will be allowed to sit for the Post UTME test without a valid Examination Card.

BUK Post Utme Cutoff Mark

The general cut off mark for BUK Post Utme is 180. Any candidate who scored 180 and above is eligible to apply for the Bayero University, Kano.

BUK Post Utme Screening Exercise Eligibility

  •  Prospective candidates must have sat for the UTME Examinations, chose BUK as her/his first choice, and must have scored an aggregate of 180 or higher in the relevant subjects as advertised in the UME Brochure.
  • Prospective candidates are required to have a minimum of five (5) relevant passes at Credit level in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) conducted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) or the National Examinations Council (NECO) in not more than two (2) sittings, including a pass at credit level in English.

BUK Post Utme Screening Date

The date of the Post UTME examinations will be announced in the media as well as communicated to all registered applicants via their gsm and email addresses.

The Venue, Time and Sitting Arrangement for the test will be on applicants’ Examination Cards.

BUK Direct Entry Post Utme Screening Application Procedure

1. Visit www.buk.edu.ng, click Direct Entry Screening Application Portal

2. Login using your DE Number, the Program Applied and your Gender, then upload your passport-sized photograph

3. After uploading your picture, Fill-in (update) the Applicant’s Particulars Form.

4. Print your Personalized Payment Invoice and use the invoice to make the payment of N2,500 (Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira Only) at any branch of Banks Listed on your Invoice nationwide.

5. After making the payment, return to the website, www.buk.edu.ng, login again. Your payment will be validated after which you can Fill-in (update) the O’ Level and A’ Level Qualifications Form.

6. Print your Acknowledgement Letter and keep it safe.

BUK Part-time Application Procedure                    

  1. Visit www.buk.edu.ng and under the PART-TIME DEGREE STUDENTS TAB click Application forms at the home page.
  2. Login using your NAME and select “Applying for a Part-time Degree Programme”                 
  3. Personalized Payment Invoice will be sent immediately into your email inbox. Print it and go to any branch nationwide to make a non-refundable payment of N10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira Only).               
  4. . Return to www.buk.edu.ng and login to fill in the Application Forms, Fill in the Personal Data Form, qualifications Form, and Course Selection Form.                  
  5. Review your forms to ensure the accuracy of all the information you have provided. Click ‘SUBMIT’ to complete the application process                 
  6. An auto-generated acknowledgement Slip will be sent immediately into your mailbox. Print the Slip and keep it safe. The Slip will be needed during the collection of admission letter and during registration.

BUK Postgraduate Application Procedure

Step 1

Click on the Register Tab on the left navigation panel to go to the Create an Account Page. At the Create an Account page, create an account by providing your First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Personal Email and Personal GSM Phone Number.

A Login credentials (username and password) will be generated for you. Please take note of them, as you need them for subsequent steps of the application process.

Use the Login tab on the left navigation panel to login to your account (using your login credentials) to start/continue your application process.

Step 2

Print your Personalized Payment Invoice and go to any branch of any of the banks listed on the payment invoice nationwide to make a non-refundable payment of Twelve Thousand Naira (N12,000.00) Only

Step 3

Return to the Login Page and login with your username and password to fill in the Application Forms:

  • Programme Selection Form
  • Personal Data Form &
  • Qualifications Form

Step 4

Transcript Request Form shall also be filled in addition to the forms listed in Step 3 above.

Step 5

Review all your forms to ensure the accuracy of all information before submission.

Step 6

Print an Acknowledgement Slip and keep it safe. The slip will be needed during the collection of the admission letter and during registration.
