ABU School Fees 2023/2024 For Freshers and Returning Students

In all universities, payment of school fees guarantees the studentship of any student in the school environment.

Some students often make choices of institution based on how much school fees released by the school for payment.

To this end, Ahmadu Bello University has decided to make the school fees affordable to all students.

The management of the school has published the school fees to be paid by the different faculties of the institution.

For newly admitted students who found their names on the ABU admission list, payment of acceptance fee is a stepping stone to being a complete student of ABU.

The student must note that late payment attracts extra charges which would be added to the school fee and failure to pay the fees means that the student involved will not be allowed to seat for any examination.

ABU Zaria Postgraduate School Fees

The Ahmadu Bello University Post Graduate School accepts the PGD, Masters’, Doctoral, and even Post-Doctoral programmes.

It is pertinent to know that the fees are far more expensive than those of undergraduate courses. Bear in mind that to apply for any of these programmes, you have to purchase the application form which costs N10, 500.

ABU Post Graduate Acceptance Fee is N50, 000 for both Sciences and School of Management Sciences. This amount is also paid by the Post-Graduate Diploma Students.

Registration Fee is N25, 000 for PGD and Masters, both Sciences and Management Sciences.

Tuition Fees are N150, 000 for Post-Graduate Diploma, while Masters students pay between N200, 000 and N250, 000 depending on the course.

Health, Computer, Examination and Sports Fees: All of these fees amount to about N120, 000.

Developmental Levy: N100, 000 to be paid by every postgraduate student.

Total Fees Payable at the end of Programme: While a Masters Programme in the Sciences will cost about N510, 000 in tuition, Management Sciences will cost N455, 000, while a PGD student will be paying N405, 000 at the end of the final semester.

Students are advised to make the payment on time and directly to the school portal. As a newly admitted student, do not give your school fees to anybody for payment as there are fraudsters around the school environment.
