SLU School Fees 2023/2024 for New and Returning Students

When it comes to school fee payment in state universities and consideration of the female and physically challenged people, Sule Lamido has outstanding records.

With the State government at the tail end contributing their own quota to the development of the institution it is pertinent to say, bravo Jigawa state government!

I am going to show you the SLU school fees for all the SLU courses from year one to final year.

If you are among the freshers who found their names on the SLU admission list or an aspirant who wishes to know how much the students of SLU pay, read on.

This is to notify the newly admitted, returning, foreign students and the entire public that the management of Sule Lamido University has made known the school fees arrangement for its students for the 2023/2024 academic year. The fees are shown in the table below.

Science-Based Programmes

i.	Jigawa State Indigines (Male)	N8,750.00 25% of N70,000.00; 75% to be paid by the Jigawa State Government through State Scholarship Board.
ii.	Jigawa State Indigines (Female)	Free
iii.	Jigawa State Indigenes (Physically Challenged)	Free
iv.	Other States	N70,000.00

Arts-Based Programmes

i.	Jigawa State Indigines (Male)	N7,500.00 25% of N60,000.00; 75% to be paid by the Jigawa State Government through State Scholarship Board.
ii.	Jigawa State Indigenes (Female)	Free
iii.	Jigawa State Indigenes (Physically Challenged)	Free
iv.	Other States	N60,000.00

It is important for students of SLU to know that late payment of the school fees comes with extra charges and in order to avoid these students are advised to make payment on time.

Any student that fails to pay his/her fee will not be allowed to sit for any semester examination.
