SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH

ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIANS (DIPLOMA) 3 YEARS

Entry Requirement:

• Four (4) credits and two passes in GCE/WAEC/NECO examination. The Credits must be in any of the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Health Science, at not more than two sittings.
• Holders of Environmental Health Assistant certificate with two years post qualification experience may be admitted at 200 level of Environmental Health Technician programme provided they fulfill the entry requirement above.

HEALTH PROMOTION AND EDUCATION (DIPLOMA) 2 YEARS

Entry Requirement:

• Five (5) credit passes in GCE/SSCE/NECO or Teachers Grade Certificate, must include English Language, Biology and three science subjects including Chemistry, Health Science, Nutrition, Physics, General Science or Integrated Sciences

SCHOOL OF COMMUNITY HEALTH

COMMUNITY HEALTH EXTENSION WORKERS PROGRAMME (DIPLOMA) 3 YEARS

Entry Requirement:

• Five (5) O’level credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science and Chemistry and any other credit in Agric, Economics, Geography, Literature and commerce at WAEC/NECO/GCE O’level at not more than two sittings.

JUNIOR COMMUNITY HEALTH EXTENSION WORKERS PROGRAMME (CERTIFICATE) 2YEARS

Entry Requirement:

Three (3) Credit passes in WAEC/GCE/NECO. The subject should include; English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science at not more than two sittings.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (DIPLOMA) 3 YEARS

Entry Requirement:

Five (5) credit passes in WAEC/GCE/NECO. Subject should include: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two sittings.

DISPENSING OPTICIANRY TECHNICIAN PROGRAMME (DIPLOMA) 3 YEARS

Entry Requirement:

Five (5) credit passes in WAEC/GCE/NECO. Subject should include: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two sittings.

SCHOOL OF PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN PROGRAMME (DIPLOMA) 3 YEARS

Entry Requirement:

Five (5) credit passes in WAEC/GCE/NECO. Subject should include: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two sittings.

SCHOOL OF MEDICAL SOCIAL WORK

Medical social work (diploma) 3 years

Entry Requirement:

Five (5) credit passes in WAEC/GCE/NECO. Subject should include: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and three other subject groupings (government/history/civic education/Christian religious/Islamic knowledge) (health science/biology) (economics/commerce/geography) at not more than two sittings.

SCHOOL OF DENTAL HEALTH SCIENCE

DENTAL SURGERY TECHNICIAN/DENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN PROGRAMME (DIPLOMA) 3 years

Entry Requirement:

Five (4) credit passes in WAEC/GCE/NECO. Subject should include: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry/Physics and biology/health science at not more than two sittings.

ANESTHETIC TECHNICIAN PROGRAMME (CERTIFICATE) 2 YEARS

Entry Requirement:

Five (4) credit passes in WAEC/GCE/NECO. Subject should include: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/ biology at not more than two sittings.

SCHOOL OF HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA) 3 years

Entry Requirement:

Five (5) credit passes in WAEC/GCE/NECO. Subject should include: English Language, Mathematics, biology/health science and other two credits from (chemistry, physics, commerce, economics, government) at not more than two sittings.

HOSPITAL/HEALTH ADMINISTRATION (DIPLOMA) 2 years

Entry Requirement:

Five (4) credit passes in WAEC/GCE/NECO. Subject should include: English Language, Mathematics, economics/government and biology at not more than two sittings.

SCHOOL OF MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE

MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN PROGRAMME (CERTIFICATES) 3 years

Entry Requirement:

Five (5) credit passes in WAEC/GCE/NECO. Subject should include: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and biology at not more than two sittings. The result must be obtained within the space of 10 years prior to enrollment or NABTEB certificate

SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH

PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING (HND) 2 years

Entry Requirement:

• Five (5) credit passes in WAEC/GCE/NECO. Subject should include: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and biology at not more than two sittings.
• Applicants must possess Nigeria Registered Nurse Certificate (for males) and one year post qualification experience

PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING ABRIDGEMENT (REFRESHER) PROGRAMME (HND) 1year

Entry Requirement:

• Five (5) credit passes in WAEC/GCE/NECO. Subject should include: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and biology at not more than two sittings.
• National diploma in public health

SCHOOL OF BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY

BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN PROGRAMME (DIPLOMA) 3 YEARS

Entry Requirement:

• Five (5) credit passes in WAEC/GCE/NECO. Subject should include: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and biology at not more than two sittings.

How To Apply For Rivers State School of Health and Technology Admission Form

1. Applicants are expected to pay a non-refundable fee of N11,000 (eleven thousand naira only) to any Ecobank plc and fidelity bank plc branch
2. With the access pin number generated for online registration, log in to student portal
3. Identification slip bearing examination number, venue and time will be gotten online
