OAU School Fees For 2023/2024 Academic Year | New and Returning Students

Every student of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) must pay good attention to every detailed information passed in this work. OAU is one of the outstanding universities and most competitive universities in Nigeria currently.

It is pertinent to know the university very well and the OAU accredited courses before you apply for admission. One of the criteria for being a complete student of OAU is your ability to pay the school fees.

Before proceeding with payment, every student is expected to know the amount for the school fees and that is why I am sharing it here for both old and new students who just checked their names on the OAU admission list.

Students are expected to respond promptly to this information and pay their fees as early as possible to avoid late payment which comes with extra charges.

Note: The Nigerian undergraduate students of the Obafemi Awolowo University do not pay tuition fees.

OAU School Fee for Newly Admitted Students 2023/2024 Session

Also, a development levy of eighteen thousand naira (N18,000.00) is paid once and for all by fresh students throughout the duration of their studentship in the University.

2. Students’ Welfare Insurance Scheme – 1,000.00
3. Accommodation: (Freshmen will be provided accommodation on first come first served basis) – N3,090.0

Returning Students are required to pay the appropriate charges as indicated above which include the sum of N2, 000 for TISHIP (Tertiary Institutions Students Health Insurance Programme). All students are enjoined to comply with this information.

Students with extra semesters) are required to pay appropriate charges including TISHIP as indicated above.

They should, in addition, obtain clearance from their Heads of Departments to enable them to log on to the e-portal for registration. The registration can be done in any Cyber Cafe.
