This is to inform all the candidates who participated in the 2024/2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) that the result for candidates who took the exam has been released by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board.

You can access your 2024 UTME Results through SMS or ONLINE. Following the steps listed hereunder will let you check your UTME score.

How to Check 2024 JAMB Result.

Check the Result Via SMS.

All candidates can now send UTMERESULT, via SMS, to 55019 using the same number that was used for registration (you must have a credit balance of at least N50 on your line). The result would be replied to as an SMS shortly in few minutes time.

Note: The available now is the SMS method has been suspended for now due to hitches. Candidates are to visit the JAMB portal via www.jamb.gov.ng, click on e-facility and click on UTME 2024 Main Results Notification Slip.

The following are the responses to be expected:

1. If a candidate uses a phone number that was not used to register, a message will be sent to him thus: ‘This phone number was not used for registration.”
2. A candidate with a result will receive the message: “Dear Mr/Miss X, your result is as follows… (and the details will be provided).
3. If a result is withheld, a “Result Withheld” message will be sent to the candidate.
4. If a candidate belongs to the category being given the benefit of the doubt, the message to the person will be: “Result withheld pending the upload of clarifications/document required from you.”
5. If a candidate was absent, s/he would get “CANDIDATE ABSENT” as feedback
6. A candidate that was ABSENT WITH REGISTRATION NUMBER also CANCELLED will be so informed.
7. “Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall” will be sent to a candidate who gained unauthorized access to the examination hall.

How to Check UTME Result Online.

The steps below will walk you through to check your result online:

1. Go to jamb.gov.ng

2. Tap Create e-Facility Account/Login

3. Enter your Email address and Password

4. Click Login

5. Tap Check UTME Examination Result

To check without logging in to your profile, click the button below and enter your JAMB registration number or the phone number you used in the registration. Tap Check My Result to see your score.
