Application Requirements & GPA for Dartmouth Transfers

Dartmouth does not have any strict minimum GPA requirement for transfer students but most transfer students who were accepted to the school have a GPA of at least 3.7.

For applicants to be qualified to send an application to transfer to Dartmouth, it is mandatory for them to have completed two years or less of coursework at another college or institution.

For those who have completed a bachelor’s degree or equivalent are not qualified for transfer admission to Dartmouth.

Furthermore, students who have gotten college credits while enrolled in high school are also not qualified to transfer to Dartmouth for admission.

Applicants who have matriculated at a college and who have completed two years or less of college coursework at the date of application are qualified for transfer admission.

It is prerequisite for aspiring transfer students to fill out Dartmouth’s transfer application, with an application fee of $90.

Other credentials required to be submitted with the application include a final report and transcript from high school, as well as a transcript and official report from a college official at the institution from which the student wishes to transfer.  

Transfer students are also required to submit two evaluations from their previous college professors.
