Kano State University Postgraduate Admission Form for the 2023/2024 Academic Session is not yet out for sale.
Applications are invited by the management of Kano State University (KASU) Postgraduate School from qualified candidates to apply for the KASU PG form for the 2023/2024 academic session. Interested candidates are advised to start making applications.
KASU Postgraduate Admission Requirements
- For every postgraduate programme in Kaduna State University, it is required that all prospective candidates must have at least Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level and must not be more than two sittings;
1. Postgraduate Diploma Programmes
Candidates for Postgraduate Diploma Programmes must hold:
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree from Kano State University or any other recognized University not lower than Third Class; or
- Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class (Lower Division) in an area not related to the field applying for may be considered; and
- Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Merit in related field of study from a Polytechnic or any recognized institution.
2. Academic Master Degree Programmes
Candidates must possess:
- First Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognized university in relevant field with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division); and
- A Candidate with a Postgraduate Diploma with a CGPA of not less than 3.50.
3. Professional Master Degree Programmes
Candidates must possess:
- First Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognized university in relevant field with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division); and
- A candidate with a Third Class Degree or HND and a Postgraduate Diploma from Kaduna State University or any recognized institution with a CGPA of not less than 3.50
4. Doctor of Philosophy Programmes
Candidates must possess:
- First Degree of Kaduna State University or any recognized university in relevant field with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division); and
- Master’s Degree of Kaduna State University or any other recognized university in the proposed field of study with minimum CGPA of 3.50.

- Begin your application by creating a Profile; a Username and Password would be sent to your e-mail
- Continue your Registration by login with your Profile details
- Fill the Application Form,
- Print the completed Application Form
Note:
Applicants are encouraged to submit copies of the Application Forms and Transcripts of Academic Record to the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies, Kaduna State University, Kaduna.
Candidates offered provisional admission will be required to produce transcripts of academic records and originals of their credentials at the point of registration.
