A minimum of 28 credit hours must have been completed or in progress before sending in your application. The 28 credit hours cannot encompass credit from AP, IB, or dual-enrollment classes.

A transfer student is demanded to complete two years (four semesters) of coursework at University of Florida. For that reason, a transfer student may only transfer up to 62 semester hours of college credit.

Applicants should have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale in all college work, and majority of the students who were given admission have a GPA of 3.5 or better.
